First evening prayer of the 2024-2025 season. The Evening Prayers are spoken services, in which the voices of all join in prayer. For this year, we’ve chosen ‘Old Testament stories’ as the theme for these services, and instead of a sermon, we will be re-telling the stories, as they were passed on in spoken form throughout the generations before they were finally written down. Today’s story is that of Jacob, patriarch of the Israelites.
These services are explicitly open to all – we welcome everyone, irrespective of your background, culture, or beliefs, as we believe that fellowship surpasses al these.
